Here We Go Again

Yes, once again technology is fucking me sideways at the worst possible time. Things were just going ok when the HP 130 designjet printer I use to print my maps started acting up this afternoon and I am not sure why. I called the HP support line and they were useless as tits on a boar.

They were having me go through the usual routines for diagnostic. I kept telling them I hadn't changed a damn thing, it was printing fine then when I came back from lunch it stopped printing the bottom portion of the map. They told me that the USB cable I was using was longer than recommended. I should upgrade to newer printer driver. Of course this wasn't an issue with the previous 200 prints I had made over the last week.

Considering we are talking Windows based computing I cannot discount some OS issue, but in the middle of the day? So I have to get after it in the morning and see if I can somehow make it work. I will cross my fingers, seems like as good an idea as anything else right now.
