Well, being in lousy shape is biting me on the ass at a whole new level. Signed up with a couple of health care companies since I left with my team to form a new company. Just got rejection letter #1 from Blue Cross. Let the fun and extra worries begin

Sorry to hear that, Steve. Good luck with the other one, and try not to worry too much. I know, much easier said than done.
Good thing you left & started afresh! What you did workwise for that company was insane. Hope things turn out to be fine for you! I myself am currently coming to an end to all this paperwork including having to health-insure myself & my family, as I am working fulltime for a kitchen studio since Jan plus still doing batteries & analyzers at night.....all of it as freelancer which means more money & more options to reduce taxes, but less freetime :(
If you come to Europe, you'll have a place to stay; we're moving into a big house 2 mins walk from the town centre - where I work - in August :) xx
